Funding Your Education – Your Dream Is In Reach!
Contrary to what you might assume, unless you’re bent on applying to an exclusive, private ivy-league institution, tuition shouldn’t stop you from considering a school. Even then, a lot of top schools are working hard to ensure that students from low-income backgrounds have a better opportunities to acquire the education of their dreams.
Sure, mind-bending “sticker shock” applies as much to education these days as it does to energy costs, but affordable options are out there. Discuss your situation seriously with family members. If you’re in high school, talk to your guidance counselor. Attend any financial aid workshops offered in school or your community. Then research financial-aid packages that are offered by the schools on your Wish List. Needs and merit-based scholarships are out there, too. It takes some investigation and persistence, but you can afford college.
