Location, Location, Location!
Now that you have an idea of what you might want to study, think about how far from home you want to be. Draw circle. Decide on a radius. One thousand miles? Five hundred? Fifty or five? Narrow your search for schools in your region, state, county or city.
Another consideration is whether you prefer a rural, urban, or suburban location. Some students appreciate a quieter and slower-paced environment over the faster-paced energy of an urban campus. If you can’t live without being within minutes of a museum, mall, or movie house, a rural campus may not satisfy you. You’ll find descriptions on the school’s website – unless, of course, it offers only online degrees.
