The Place to Be
That would be college! Placement tests not only allow students to register for courses that are right for them, they allow the college to inform advisors of academic preparedness and let faculty track the most frequent areas of difficulty for the students entering their classes.
If you’re a nervous test-taker or you have documented disabilities that make you eligible for accommodations, talk to your advisor or the folks at the admissions office. Discuss ways to ensure that your scores truly reflect your level of ability.
Remember that placement testing is another hoop you have to jump through, one of many in college. Be ready for it and you’ll be ready for school!
