When should you begin looking? Ideally, begin your preliminary search in your freshman year of high school. If you are already a junior don't fret, there is still time.Your junior year is the year that you will be sending in your aplications. You may just have to work at a quicker pace. However, if you are “nontraditional,” you could be in your 40s and looking to switch careers or advance your education. But whoever you are and whatever your reason, proactive is the key word. Get a jump on the process so you have plenty of time to complete the application process, which can involve a lot of steps and paperwork.
